In 1991, Second Chance began turning zoo waste into quality compost with a staff of four, and now, under the ZooDoo NZ subsidiary, employs over sixty people, recycles manure from Wellington and Auckland zoo’s and sells over 60 products. Christchurch has been closed since the earthquake and we’d hoped to be open again in 2022, but Covid has prevented this from happening. We will keep you updated for when this may start up again.
We now have home delivery services throughout Wellington, Kapiti Coast, the Hutt Valley, Nelson and Auckland.
We also sell a wide range of Tui products, at competitive prices with all other garden centres, and have the added advantage of free home delivery.
